2008年12月14日：致......弟兄和身處那裡的其他弟兄姊妹

致......弟兄和一同在那裏的弟兄姊妹，

當我們閱讀路加福音22:56-62，看見我們的　主被釘在十字架的時候，彼得、蒙愛的約翰、抹大拉馬利亞及其餘的弟兄都遠離　祂，不願意為貼近他們的　主耶穌而面對逼迫，正如路加福音23:49及馬太福音10:32-33所記載的。事實上，大部分本該是基督徒的都經不起這考驗──他們因懼怕所面對的斷頭台，便否認他們的　耶穌是他們個人的　主和　救主。　　

在1983年，當我問　主：「在眾多已重生的信徒中，有多少人配得去進入　祂永恆的國度？」　祂說：「少於2%。」──這大概是他們活出所宣稱的信心的狀況。時至今天，或許只有少於1%的信徒配得被召去；隨著懼怕逐漸佔有他們的心，他們在真道上便出現大倒退。我們必須克服懼怕，以我們所宣稱的至聖信心往公眾場合去，猶如司提反接受試驗的時候所顯出的剛強壯膽，使徒行傳6:15及使徒行傳7:59-60。

在　基督的真道上，我們決不能容讓驕傲勝過我們。倘若我們為一些起了爭論的事情去求問　主，而　祂讓我們發現我們是錯誤的時候，我們又能否為這爭論的事情，向那人尋求寬恕？還是會在所行的事上，任憑驕傲勝過我們，箴言16:17-19？我已不斷從我的行事為人之中去抗拒驕傲這一罪惡。

Dear brother …… and other brethren there,

When we read about Peter in Luke 22:56 to 62, and that when our Lord hung on the cross, it was John the beloved and Mary Magdalene and all the rest of the brethren which were off in a distance not wanting to face persecution for to be near their Lord Jesus as written in Luke 23:49, and Matthew 10:32-33. In reality most of the supposed Christian
believers will fail this test of their professed faith and deny their Jesus as their personal Lord and Saviour for fear of facing the guillotine.

When in 1983 I asked the Lord how many of these so-called born again believers will be found worthy to enter His eternal Kingdom, He said less than 2%, that is, those mainly living their professed faith. Today it may well be less than 1% as the great falling away from the real faith is happening as fear creeps into their heart. We have to resist fear and go out to use our professed most holy faith while we can out in public, that is, to be as strong as Stephen was in his time of testing, Acts 6:15 and 7:59-60.

We in this Christian faith have always to not allow pride to overcome us. If we find out by asking the Lord over a dispute that we were wrong, can we go and admit to that person we had the dispute with to ask forgiveness, or has pride kept us from doing so, Proverbs 16:17 to 19? I have had to do this in my walk, to resist this evil pride.
